OUR MISSION
The Pony Boys Foundation honors the legacy of our lifelong friends, Kyle Fessler and Andrew “Bill” Latenser, by opening doors for young people pursuing careers in STEM fields and the skilled trades. We also support individuals and communities in need—uplifting students, helping families, and contributing to projects that strengthen the places we call home. Everything we do reflects the friendship, generosity, and resilience Kyle and Bill embodied.

THEIR STORY
We’ve been a tight group of friends since grade school in the late ’80s,
and Kyle and Bill were at the heart of that bond.

Bill, a 2003 Waverly graduate, studied automotive technology and non-destructive testing at SCC, later working at SpaceX and Ravin Crossbows.
Kyle studied culinary arts at SCC, became an executive chef with Granite City, and later worked as a regional sales manager at Vermeer High Plains in Lincoln.

Though they’re no longer with us, their drive, kindness, and work ethic continue to guide this foundation. Their lives are the reason we’re committed to helping the next generation succeed.
